Join Hazen Experts at the Dam Safety 2026 Conference

(RALEIGH, NC – August 25, 2026) - Hazen experts will present and moderate technical sessions and topic tables at the 2026 Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO) Annual Conference, to be held from August 31 through September 3, 2026, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Topics will include the latest innovations in dam and levee safety practices and state regulatory landscapes, decision-making tools, modeling and erosion, instrumentation and monitoring, and much more.

Hazen Water Resources Director Jonathan Quebbeman is moderating a series of sessions on “New Tech for State Programs” on September 2. These presentations will cover data management, using mobile apps to complete safety inspections, and building data management applications. Jeff Powers will also moderate a series of sessions on "Dam Rehab Case Studies II" which will explore addressing geotechnical or structural issues through spillway optimization, rehabilitation and retrofitting for environmental impacts, and stability improvements amid complex subsurface conditions.
