Join Hazen Experts at WateReuse Symposium 2026

(LOS ANGELES, CA – March 4, 2026) - Hazen experts will present eight technical sessions and moderate a panel at the 2026 WateReuse Symposium, to be held March 8-11, 2026 in Los Angeles, CA.

Among our presentations, Hazen’s Kati Bell, Christine Owen, Troy Walker, and Stephanie Ishii are moderating a panel of Hazen experts and environmental engineers titled “From Building Blocks to Policy: Developing Effective Water Reuse Regulations” on March 8th. The panel will discuss strategies for utilities, state agencies, and partners to develop "clear, science-based, and health-protective regulations" for water reuse. Discussion will cover key principles that assist in:

  • Using tools and messaging strategies to support local implementation,
  • Identifying and navigating foundational aspects for consideration such as health risks, treatment technologies, and source water,
  • Exploring case studies and trends in direct, indirect, and non-potable reuse,
  • Fostering collaboration through breakout sessions that combine utility, community, and regulatory stakeholder participation.

The Annual WateReuse Symposium will take place March 8-11 in Los Angeles, CA, including a wealth of technical sessions, panel presentations, and networking opportunities. Sessions will highlight the latest in advance treatment technology optimization, aspects of potable and non-potable reuse, outreach, communications approaches, regulatory guidance and implementation, and much more.
