Join Hazen Experts at WEFTEC 2026
(NEW ORLEANS, LA – September 21, 2026) - Hazen experts will conduct 32 moderated panels, technical sessions, workshops, and technology spotlights at WEFTEC 2026, which is being held September 26 - 30, 2026, in New Orleans, LA.
Hazen presentations will explore innovation and advancements in strategies and tools across a variety of water quality topics, from chemical disinfection, to navigating PFAS compliance and treatment, utility asset management, data management, and much more. Our moderated panels will include speakers from multiple industry perspectives who will be discussing timely themes such as stormwater management, optimizing for biosolids treatment advancements, the circular water economy, and community engagement.
Hazen is also hosting two technology spotlight booths. Returning to the conference this year is the "Wastewater Fundamentals: Influent to Effluent" booth which will help to educate attendees who are not familiar with the intricacies of the wastewater treatment processes. Meanwhile, the "Aeration Blowers" booth will examine how this equipment supports critical biological processes within the wastewater treatment train.
Hazen is pleased to be celebrating two WEF 2026 Operational and Design Excellence Awards alongside our project partners this year. The first for the Hazen-designed Piscataway WRRF Bioenergy project which is being recognized with the WEF Project Excellence Award for using innovative and sustainable approaches to tackle a complex water challenge while also providing community benefits. The second accolade is the Morgan Operational Solutions Award being awarded to Metro Water Recovery and partnering firms for a project focused on increasing plant efficiency through the unconventional application of existing technology.
