Nicole Blute, PhD, PE

Nicole is Hazen's Director of Drinking Water Process Technology, specializing in drinking water treatment and system planning for regulatory compliance. She is an expert in drinking water treatment and system planning, particularly for impaired groundwater and PFAS, and a leader in chromium-6 treatment, having led over a decade of technology testing forming the basis for the Best Available Technologies set by California. Nicole has also managed three desalination post-treatment stabilization evaluations and designed and managed more than a dozen pilot and bench-scale projects to assess technology performance, corrosion control, and chloramine stability.
