Ben leads Hazen's digital services, developing advanced technology solutions for drinking water, water reuse, and wastewater utilities. He is an internationally recognized expert in potable reuse and has worked on dozens of regulatory, treatment, public communication, and risk assessment projects to support potable reuse implementation. Ben has over 60 peer-reviewed publications and his work has been cited over 2,700 times in other peer-reviewed publications. He is a co-author of the World Health Organization’s Direct Potable Reuse Guidelines.
