Dan is an expert in the development of Regulatory Monitoring and Compliance Plans (RMCPs), which he has completed for multiple water agencies. He has also led the development of distribution system monitoring plans reviews of nitrification and corrosion control strategies and the preparation of watershed sanitary surveys. Previously, Dan was the Water Quality Manager for Glendale Water and Power. Under his leadership, the Water Quality Group conducted a demonstration-scale study of chlorite for nitrification control and a pilot-scale study of biological treatment for removal of nitrate. Dan also publishes a highly regarded industry newsletter providing updates to clients nationwide on developments in the drinking water regulatory environment. In addition, he has given numerous presentations at workshops and roundtables across the country for water utilities.
