Meric Selbes PhD, PE
Senior Principal Engineer

Meric's areas of expertise include oxidation/disinfection systems, disinfection by-products formation and control, process optimization, carbon adsorption, MIEX® treatment, membrane treatment and biologically active filter treatment. Meric received his PhD in Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences from Clemson University where he did his research in the formation of emerging disinfection by-products N-nitrosodimethylamine and other nitrosamines. In addition to his research studies, he has also participated in source water profiling, jar testing, and bench-, pilot- and full-scale testing of different oxidants, carbons and optimization techniques. Meric has presented his findings at different national and regional conferences and has co-authored more than 20 peer reviewed papers.
