Kim is the founder and CEO of WaterSMART, now Hazen Canada. Under Kim's guidance, Hazen Canada completed many high-profile and successful projects, earning a reputation as the leading consultancy for water management solutions in Western Canada. After significant flooding in Alberta in 2013, Kim produced a pivotal report that informed new policies and infrastructure improvements for collaborative and informed water management in the local communities. She is also the founder of the Alberta WaterPortal Society (now Canada WaterPortal Society), which provides education on key water issues in Canada and around the world.
