Join Hazen Experts at Dam Safety 2025

(CLEVELAND, OH – August 25, 2025) - Hazen experts will present and moderate technical sessions and topic tables at the 2025 Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO) Conference, to be held September 21-25 in Cleveland, OH. Topics include the latest innovations in dam and levee safety practices and design, modeling tools and approaches, mapping, incident management, and much more.

Hazen’s Scott Arends is moderating the concurrent sessions on “Decade Dam Failures and Incidents” on September 22nd. The presentations cover lessons learned from dam failure case studies, foundation evaluations, and uses of models to assist in planning for real-world breach assessments. Jeff Powers will also moderate concurrent sessions on "Extreme Rainfall Updates" which will cover methods for estimating precipitation to meet design standards, tropical storm risks to watersheds, and new developments in probable maximum precipitation (PMP) tools.
