Join Hazen Experts at Dam Safety 2024
(DENVER, CO – September 11, 2024) – Hazen and Sawyer experts will present posters, moderate concurrent sessions, and lead technical presentations at the Dam Safety 2024 conference, being held September 22-26, 2024 in Denver, CO.
The poster and sessions led by Hazen staff will cover wide-ranging topics including emergency planning, hydraulic modeling, and collaborative design and construction. One session, featuring three Hazen presenters, will do a deep dive on the Pilot Dam Safety Program in Alabama. The yearlong study focused on three metro-Birmingham, AL counties – Jefferson, Shelby, and Tuscaloosa – and the presenters will discuss the methodologies used and the challenges encountered in completing this innovative project.
