Hazen Names Madeleine Driscoll Senior Associate
In addition to her asset management expertise, Ms. Driscoll is a certified Water Distribution System Operator and has a strong background operating and maintaining water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
(BALTIMORE, MD - March 29, 2021) - Hazen and Sawyer has announced the appointment of Madeleine Driscoll, PE as Senior Associate, based out the Baltimore, MD office.
Most recently, Ms. Driscoll spent four years as an Asset Management Consultant at her previous firm. Her work focused on assisting municipal clients with their utility management needs, including the development and implementation of asset management programs, performing business process analysis, facilitating the development of organizational strategic plans, and leveraging utility data to aid clients in making informed investment decisions. In addition to her asset management expertise, she is a certified Water Distribution System Operator and has a strong background operating and maintaining water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
Previously, Ms. Driscoll was the first Chief of the Office of Asset Management for Baltimore City Department of Public Works, an office she helped plan and implement.
Ms. Driscoll received her BS in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University in 2001 and her MS in Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 2010. She is a Professional Engineer in MD, and active in multiple associations, including the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Asset Management and Strategic Management Practices Committees, the Water Environment Federation (WEF) Utility Management Committee, and the Chesapeake Water Environment Association (CWEA) Collection Systems Committee, where she currently serves as Vice Chair, and has prepared multiple presentations and publications.
Early in her career, Ms. Driscoll served as a Peace Corps Jamaica Volunteer and more recently, co-founded AccessH2O, a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance, education, and support to individuals and families experiencing temporary financial hardship to avoid water shut-off.
