Alex is an expert in water treatment process engineering and utility operations. He specializes in PFAS removal and treatment for algae T&O and cyanotoxins, with his design experience including GAC and ion exchange systems. As co-lead of Hazen’s firmwide Emergency Preparedness working group, Alex offers expertise to meet AWIA requirements and improve overall system resilience. He is a Professional Operator, with experience in managing a 120-mgd water treatment plant, conducting operator training, and performing filter surveillance.
