(HOLLYWOOD, FL – October 8, 2015) – Hazen and Sawyer has been selected to perform as needed consultancy services for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) via a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) over the next five years.
Typical assignments will include assisting MCC with oversight of the development and implementation of its Threshold and Compact programs, as well as tasks in support of MCC’s global Water, Sanitation and Irrigation (WSI) practice group. Hazen will partner with several local firms to complete the consultancy services, and work will be assigned based on qualifications and price for task orders related to water, wastewater, and irrigation.
MCC, a US foreign aid agency under the State Department, is active in the water sectors of countries like Niger, Jordan, Zambia, Moldova, and Senegal with more countries expected to be named by December of 2015.
Since July 2012, Hazen has served as Program Management Consultant representing the Government of Jordan during the implementation of the Zarqa Water and Wastewater Networks Projects, a key component of MCC’s $275M Jordan Compact. Scheduled for completion in 2016, the Jordan Compact promises to be one of the greatest investments made by MCC in the water sector.
