Engineering Expo for Middle and High School Students
(NEW YORK, NY – January 2, 2013) – The 10th Annual Lower Hudson Valley Engineering Expo for Middle & High School Students will be held at White Plains High School in Westchester County on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 11am to 4pm.
The expo, which features interactive displays and exhibits, provides a forum where students can meet with engineering schools and businesses, gain an understanding of what engineers do, and learn more about colleges that may be of interest to them.
Last year’s event had over 3,000 attendees, along with 80 companies who are involved in technologies of varying specialty and representatives from over 40 engineering colleges.
Hazen and Sawyer has supported the event since 2007. Engineers from Hazen and Sawyer will be available to answer questions and provide a resource for students by giving insight into the engineering profession.
Admission is free and there will be door prizes for student attendees. For more information, visit www.BeAnEngineer.org.
