Drought Mitigation: Potable Reuse and Conservation Webinar
(TEMPE, AZ – March 24, 2015) – Troy Walker of Hazen and Sawyer will be one of the presenters at an upcoming AWWA webinar titled “Potable Reuse and Conservation: Water Source Development to Plan for Drought”.
This webinar addresses multiple options for source water development for both long- and short-term planning for drought. Potable reuse and conservation will be addressed along with examples of applications and success stories.
In the face of severe drought, utilities need to be able to plan for the development of alternative sources or implement conservation strategies to best use the sources available. Effective conservation efforts and potable reuse are both viable options to consider. Through this webinar, viewers will understand the impacts of each and will be able to better assess appropriate approaches for their utilities.
The webinar will be held on April 8, 2015 at 1 pm Eastern/10 am Pacific. For more information or to register for the webinar, please visit the AWWA website.
