Stream Rehabilitation Survey
(NEW YORK, NY – July 11, 2016) – Hazen and Sawyer has released a research survey regarding stream rehabilitation.
Stream restoration construction spending in the United States well exceeds one billion dollars annually, yet there is little data regarding the public’s perception of what stream restoration entails and how effective it appears in the public’s eye. We have created a simple survey to gauge the differences between public understanding of streamwork and that of stream restoration scientists and engineers.
The public opinion data is being collected for presentation at the 2016 Stream Ecology and Restoration Conference in August. This short, point-and-click survey can be accessed through the Survey Monkey website.
Responses are due July 31, 2016.
