Hazen and Sawyer Opens State College (PA) Office
Central Pennsylvania Office the Firm’s Third in the Commonwealth
(State College, PA – February 17, 2010) – Water and wastewater engineering firm Hazen and Sawyer, PC, is proud to announce the opening of a new office in State College, Pennsylvania. The State College office will serve the unique needs of Hazen and Sawyer clients in central Pennsylvania, drawing as needed upon the resources of the firm’s worldwide offices.

Heading the State College office of Hazen and Sawyer is Brian L. Book, PE, who joins the firm following 22 years with Herbert, Rowland & Grubic and Gannett Fleming as Design Engineer, Project Manager, and Group Manager. Recently, Mr. Book was the Process Engineer on The Harrisburg Authority’s award-winning BNR upgrade study and Lead Engineer on the Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority’s upgrade for compliance with the Chesapeake Bay Tributary Strategy.
The State College office joins Hazen and Sawyer’s Philadelphia and Pittsburgh offices as the third in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Known for its superior technical work, Hazen and Sawyer was ranked 20th in water and 15th in wastewater by the Engineering News-Record for 2009.
