Hazen Announces PM/Conveyance Expansion in Irvine Office
(IRVINE, CA – April 24, 2017) – Hazen and Sawyer has announced the hiring of a team of five senior-level Program Management and Conveyance engineers in its Irvine, California office.
As previously announced, Vice President Cindy Miller PE will lead the Irvine office.
The expanded Irvine team includes:
• Steve Conner PE, Senior Associate and West Region Pumping Lead. Conner has more than 22 years of experience leading large-scale water infrastructure projects including pump stations, reservoirs, well equipping, and pipeline planning and design. Over the course of his career, Conner has served as Project Manager and technical lead for some of the largest and most complex pump stations in Southern California, including potable and recycled water pump stations, wastewater lift stations, stormwater pump stations, and pump station retrofit projects. Conner also has extensive experience in the design of high-capacity vertical turbine well pumping plants.
• Mirko Maher PE, Senior Associate. Maher has more than 18 years of experience in the planning and design of water and wastewater conveyance facilities, including pressure and gravity pipelines, trenchless construction, and pipeline rehabilitation for both water and wastewater infrastructure. He has been instrumental in designs for agencies including Orange County Sanitation District and Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering.
• Tori Yokoyama PE, Senior Associate. Yokoyama has more than 13 years of experience in preparation of water and sewer master plans, hydraulic analyses, and design of water storage, conveyance, and pumping facilities. Yokoyama has led projects for numerous agencies throughout Southern California, including the City of Beverly Hills, Port of Long Beach, Long Beach Water Department, El Toro Water District, and the City of Whittier.
• Mary Hambel PE, Senior Principal Engineer. Hambel has more than 20 years of experience in advanced water treatment, civil, infrastructure, and project management. Hambel has worked on many water supply, treatment, and conveyance projects for water agencies and municipalities throughout California. She brings a wealth of knowledge related to the Chino Basin Desalter Authority projects, where she has provided valuable support for more than 15 years.
